Welcome to Pura Vida Souqs, where the vibrant cultures of the Middle East and Central America come together to create wearable art, illustrations, and thoughtfully designed pieces inspired by nature, landscapes, and craftsmanship.

We’re Stefanie and Björn — the duo behind Pura Vida Souqs.

Stefanie studied Life Sciences for more than five years at the Universität Potsdam, where her fascination with plants and ecosystems first took root. Her botanical perspective and scientific curiosity form the foundation of many of our designs, shaped by a deep love of nature.

She was the first to move to Dubai, where the city’s energy, architecture, and cultural diversity opened a new chapter of creative inspiration.

Björn is a lifelong creative who has been drawing since the age of 16. His artistic journey took a defining turn in the lush jungle of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, where he fell in love with a hidden house surrounded by nature. There, he met Douglas, a talented artist and craftsman from Canada. What began as a chance meeting grew into a lasting friendship rooted in art, craftsmanship, and shared creative values.

Today, we divide our lives between Costa Rica and the United Arab Emirates, blending two worlds that couldn’t be more different — yet merge seamlessly in our work.

At Pura Vida Souqs, we curate and create pieces that tell a story. From botanical-inspired illustrations to wearable art shaped by desert landscapes and tropical jungles, each design reflects our commitment to quality, creativity, and authentic connection.

Our mission is to build bridges between worlds — celebrating art, craftsmanship, and the stories behind every creation. We believe in offering more than products. We aim to inspire a sense of connection, curiosity, and meaning with every piece.
