Pura Vida Souqs is not just another e-commerce brand.

We are building a platform that combines nature, education, technology, and conservation.

Our goal is to make biodiversity accessible and inspiring for everyone—from curious beginners to lifelong nature enthusiasts.

Inspired by one of the world's richest ecosystems

Costa Rica is home to nearly 6% of the world's known biodiversity, despite covering less than 0.03% of Earth's surface.

From colorful poison dart frogs and brilliant morpho butterflies to scarlet macaws, crocodiles, monkeys, orchids, and ancient rainforests, it is one of the most fascinating places on our planet.

Living in Costa Rica allows us to experience this extraordinary biodiversity every day, inspiring many of the designs you'll find in our collection.

Our company is based in the United Arab Emirates, while our inspiration comes from the extraordinary natural world that surrounds us.

Every design begins with a story

Every illustration tells the story of a real species—and every species deserves to be known.

The artwork you see throughout our collections is created to celebrate the beauty of nature.

Most of our illustrations are hand-drawn digital artworks, carefully designed to capture the character and beauty of each species.

For some collections, we also use artificial intelligence as a creative tool. Whenever artificial intelligence has been used as part of the creative process, we clearly disclose this on the corresponding product page.

We believe in being transparent about how our artwork is created, while always keeping one goal at the center of every design:

To inspire curiosity about the natural world and the incredible biodiversity that surrounds us.

Supporting conservation

Protecting biodiversity requires more than awareness—it requires action.

For that reason, conservation is built directly into our business model.

Our current conservation commitment is simple:

• US$8 from every T-shirt sold
• 5% of profits from other eligible products

These funds are intended to support biodiversity conservation, environmental education, and wildlife protection projects, with a particular focus on Costa Rica.

As our community grows, we will continue expanding our partnerships with organizations working to protect nature and promote environmental education.

We are committed to operating with transparency and will regularly share updates about our conservation contributions.
